Music

The Cool Club has been described my London Short Film Festival as "a search for psy-trance". These psychedelic beats play a vital role in film. They not only set the mood but they add to the mystery of The Cool Club. I believe most viewers will have never heard any psy-trance before (most of the actors thought I made-up the genre for the film...)

Here is some info on the DJs in order of appearance:

A fan of the painter John Martin, Dosage's revolutionary Neuro-House track appears in the first scene of The Cool Club.

All the way from Indian we have the first psy-trance track (forest psy-trance to be precise). Its dark sounds perfectly highlight the silent horror Dylan faces as he receives the card for the club.

Antispin⌘

As we get closer to the club the psy-trance darkens. Antispin's heavy bass-lines and hard hitting beats lurk in the background of Dionysus' scene and most importantly The Cool Club itself. Antispin also happens to make an appearance as they were playing on the day I filmed the scene.

The unforgeable Space Odysseyesque ending with a psy-trance mix.
